ABOUT THE PROJECT
The biggest sports network in the world recognized that it is the fans that make sports what they are. It is because of them and their dedication that athletes get to have a career and we get to build intense friendships, rivalries and memories. ESPN created the Fan Hall of Fame to recognize those fans that no matter what always give their team 110% and taking the Art Direction from the site, built a campaign.
THree Modes In One
What made this website special is that it had to have three different states and the client didn't want to have to pay or maintain the site regularly due to budget and logistical concerns. The site had three modes: Submission Period, Voting and Awards and Archive. The site would switch seamlessly and expose new functionality and content modules based on the phase of the competition. The client was also able to replace their titular sponsor.
Design Gallery
Here are some of the mockups for the pages as they were designed. The campaign did run for about 3 years so if you want to see the site with live data skip the gallery and click the link.
